Jam Radio > Concerts > The Big Wu

The The Big Wu is a jam/rock band from Minnesota, founded in 1992. Their name comes from the nickname for the volcano in the Tom Hanks movie Joe Versus the Volcano. Their great song-writing and upbeat sound have all contributed to their success, and they have the rare ability to cover a song so well you'd think they wrote it themselves.

Although the band has mostly stopped touring, they do perform periodically in their home state of Minnesota, as well as hosting an annual festival called the The Big Wu Family Reunion.

This is one band that won't disappoint, and if you give them a listen, I know you'll agree!

The Big Wu Sharing Policy

On February 11, 2008, Nate Anderson from thebigwu.com gave permisson for music to be hosted at JamRadio - via email: "The Wu's recordings policy is relatively simple. You can spread the music (live recordings of course, not studio or officially released recordings) as far and wide as you please as long as there is no money transfer involved."
