Jam Radio > Concerts > The Grapes

The Grapes, from Atlanta, GA, are one of the pioneers of the new jam band - during the late 80s and 90s they were the headliner of the Atlanta Pot Fests - and played 250 shows a year across the United States, having helped launch the careers of great bands like Widespread Panic, who played some of their earlier shows as the opening band for The Grapes.

Though now (mostly) defunct, previous members have gone on to play in bands like Wayside Riders, and are planning a reunion show in Altanta in November 2008.

Check out any of their shows, and I think you'll agree that The Grapes offer something special - a solid set of talented musicians who were on the ball night after night.
